Bylas Ant Springtails (Pseudosinella violenta)

Another High Humidity Springtail,  but these jumpy lil  Bylas Ant springtails are a little more forgiving and can handle less moisture. They will actually go out onto dry areas of your enclosure looking for their next meal.
Great addition for some of the tropical geckos out there, like crested geckos, gargoyle, or the many Phelsuma species like the Giant Day gecko, that may need humidity but may not get daily misting or moisture.
Our established cultures have several hundred springtails varying in size and have been thriving and growing for at least 6 weeks before being available to purchase, ensuring a ready supply of healthy and active springtails. They provide essential cleaning and mold control to keep your habitats in top condition.
Not only do these springtails help maintain a clean and mold-free environment, but they also serve as a great source of food for dart frogs and other small pets.
They are kept in deli cups with some of our isopod soil as they reproduce best in it. Simply tilt the entire container into your enclosure or we recommend adding a spoonful at a time until you see the springtails thriving in your own set up!! No fussing with water or charcoal!
